Frequently asked questions.

Services

What does Morris Media specialize in?
We specialize in creative photography and videography services — from live event coverage and concert media to brand content, promotional videos, and documentaries. We also offer social media content creation and editing services tailored to your goals.

Do you offer packages or custom pricing?
Yes! We offer standard packages for popular services, but we’re happy to build custom quotes based on your specific needs, budget, and vision.

Do you shoot weddings, corporate events, or real estate?
We take on select projects in those categories. If you have a project in mind, reach out with the details and we’ll let you know if it’s a good fit.

Booking & Scheduling

How do I book a shoot?
Fill out our contact form, DM us on social media, or email us directly. Once we confirm your date and project needs, we’ll send over a contract and deposit invoice to lock it in.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a 25–50% deposit is required to officially book your project. The remaining balance is due upon delivery unless otherwise agreed.

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance for most projects, but we occasionally have last-minute availability. For festivals or large-scale events, try to reach out as early as possible.

What’s your cancellation or reschedule policy?
Deposits are non-refundable but can often be transferred to a new date with at least 7 days’ notice. Short-notice cancellations may be subject to additional fees.

Production & Equipment

What kind of gear do you use?
We shoot with professional Sony mirrorless cameras, cinema-grade lenses, stabilizers, studio-quality lighting, and high-end audio tools — everything needed to deliver sharp, cinematic results.

Can you shoot in low light or live concert environments?
Yes — we’re experienced with high-pressure, low-light situations like concerts, clubs, and festivals. We bring gear and settings optimized for that style of shooting.

Do you provide lighting and audio equipment?
Yes. Whether we’re filming interviews or creating branded content, we come fully equipped with the right tools to capture clean visuals and clear sound.

Editing & Delivery

How long does it take to receive my final content?
Turnaround depends on the project type, but typical delivery windows are:

  • Photo galleries: 3–7 business days

  • Social content or short-form video: 5–10 business days

  • Full-length video edits or branded content: 2–4 weeks

Rush delivery may be available upon request.

How are final files delivered?
We deliver through a secure cloud link (usually Google Drive or WeTransfer), where you can view, download, and share your files easily.

Can I request revisions?
Yes! Most packages include 1–2 rounds of revisions. If you have specific preferences or brand guidelines, let us know upfront so we can tailor the edit to your style.

Do you provide RAW files?
RAW files can be made available upon request for an additional fee, as our standard packages include fully edited and curated content.

🧾 Business & Billing

Do you work with brands, agencies, or recurring clients?
Absolutely. We regularly work with artists, businesses, agencies, and production teams. We also offer retainer packages for brands needing ongoing media support.

Do you charge travel fees?
Local travel within the Grand Rapids area is included. Projects outside of the region may include additional mileage or travel day costs — we’ll discuss that upfront when quoting.

Are you insured?
Yes — Morris Media carries general liability insurance. Certificates of insurance can be provided for venues or commercial spaces upon request.

Will I need to sign a contract?
Yes. We send a digital contract with every project to outline scope, deliverables, and expectations on both sides.
